Remembering holidays

I have just realized how long I haven`t been here.
Well-house move, holidays, changes...all that added up.
But I want to move forward, so, as a new start-a few pictures from short holidays in Poland (August 2010), where we went to the Mazury Lakes region to attend a friends` wedding.
Most memorable thing to me-Sniardwy Lake (you`ve got to love those names!:), the biggest one in Poland, and altogether, overwhelmingly vast!

I will always walk by your side

Almost a year ago, but these still move me...

Kasia again

She visited after a couple of months, so we took it outside;)
But it was cloudy and wet, so we didn`t spend a lot of time there.

Gothica

Our contemporary skyscrapers do not stand that far from medieval cathedrals. After all, our ancestors wanted to reach God...and we want to jump him over.

White and blue

These colours are most characteristic to Greece. I`d say they are it.

Greek details

Greece is like an infinite patchwork of all colours, textures and shapes. It is impossible to get bored. Ever.
(Nissyros island`s olive trees; Pothia`s market place detail; Pothia harbour on Kalymnos island; ; )

Kasia

What is there to say... beauty and personality, which makes an excellent model.

Eye rest

Soon it will all be green and blooming again...
That`s from Richmond Park in London.

Vintage

Old and beautiful, no doubt.

Step by step

Architectural details do have great appeal. But it is equally hard to record them right. Nevertheless, I try!

Nawojka

She is my niece and at the moment is 20 months old.
Absolutely wonderful.

Britain`s finest

Ruins -everywhere and everytime, that`s what draws me most.
No wonder.
Here in Britain these are also in abundance, and worth a visit.
Some are very well known, some less...(from upper one: St Michael`s Mount, Scarborough Castle, Stonehenge)
